Students will learn about the experience of the U.S. military that were a part of the secret mission-Operation Carpetbagger, with a special focus on Don Fairbanks, a Cincinnati-native Carpetbagger.
Learn more about the secret mission of supplying the French Resistance, and walk through the actual process of carrying out a Carpetbagger Mission.
Following the story of local WWII veterans John Leahr and Herb Heilbrun, students will explore their parallel lives, their amazing WWII service stories.
Build on ground school by learning more about how the Tuskegee Airmen rose above the adversity of the times.
Science and slime collide as we learn about polymers and viscosity and slimy substances in aviation.
In this section students will create, experiment, and test different types of slime.
Students will gain an understanding of the purpose of aircraft carriers and planes used on-mission with them, with a brief introduction to the Doolittle Raid.
Dive deeper into the Doolittle Raid with an interactive experience about the ‘hands on deck’. Includes B-25 climb-in experience!
